Welcome to PlanetsXP. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PlanetsXP API, web application, software, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By registering for an account, accessing our APIs, or utilizing our documentation, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, generating API keys, or integrating our Services into your application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company, business, or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity.

2. Description of Service

PlanetsXP provides developers with astrological computations, astronomical ephemeris data, numerology evaluations, and AI-powered text generation via RESTful APIs. Our Services are intended to be integrated as a backend data layer for your software applications, websites, or products.

PlanetsXP reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any specific API endpoint, data model, or feature at any time, with or without prior notice, though we make reasonable efforts to maintain backward compatibility and announce deprecations well in advance.

3. Account Registration & API Keys

To use the Services, you must register for an account and obtain unique API credentials (API Keys). You are strictly responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API Keys and account credentials.

• Unauthorized Sharing: You may not share, sell, or publicly expose your API keys. If your keys are compromised, you must immediately rotate them via your developer dashboard.
• Account Activity: You are responsible for all data, API calls, and overage charges initiated under your account credentials, regardless of whether the activity was authorized by you.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the PlanetsXP API in ways that are harmful, illegal, or detrimental to our infrastructure. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or proprietary algorithms of our Swiss Ephemeris implementations or AI models.
• Use automated scripts or scrapers to systematically download and store our entire database of astrological interpretations, horoscopes, or location coordinates to create a competing API or database.
• Intentionally bypass or manipulate our rate-limiting architecture.
• Use the API to generate content that is defamatory, illegal, or promotes self-harm.

5. Payments, Billing, and Overages

Certain aspects of our Services are offered on a freemium or subscription basis. By upgrading to a paid plan (Pro or Business Scale), you agree to our billing terms:

• Subscriptions: Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle and are non-refundable (please refer to our Refund Policy).
• Overage Charges: If your application exceeds the monthly API request allocation assigned to your chosen tier, you will automatically be billed for overages at the rate specified on our Pricing page ($0.001 per request standard). Your service will not be interrupted, but you are responsible for monitoring your usage limits.
• Taxes: All fees are exclusive of taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities. You are responsible for payment of all such taxes based on your jurisdiction.

6. Intellectual Property

PlanetsXP retains all rights, title, and interest in the Services, including our calculation engines, backend architecture, proprietary AI models, and documentation.

You retain all rights to the user-facing application, branding, and unique UI/UX you build using our data. The JSON data returned by our APIs becomes part of your application’s generated content, provided you maintain an active and compliant account with us.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties (Critical)

Astrology is not an exact science. The data, calculations, horoscopes, numerology, and tarot readings provided by PlanetsXP are strictly for entertainment, educational, and informational purposes only.

• No Medical Advice: Our health-related astrological transits or predictions do not constitute medical advice and should not replace consultation with a licensed healthcare professional.
• No Financial Advice: Astrological indicators regarding wealth, career, or investments do not constitute financial advice.
• "As Is" Basis: The APIs are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for 99.9% uptime and mathematical accuracy, we do not warrant that the service will be entirely uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely accurate at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PlanetsXP, its founders, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the API.
• Any conduct or content of any third party using your application powered by our API.
• Any bugs, errors, or inaccuracies in the astrological calculations or AI-generated text.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid to PlanetsXP in the preceding three (3) months for the API services.

9. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and API access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or engage in activity that harms our infrastructure.

Upon termination, your right to use the API will immediately cease. Any outstanding overage fees will become immediately due.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Delhi, India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Delhi, India.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect via email to registered developers. By continuing to access or use our API after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
